RECRUITMENT OF EXECUTIVE TRAINEES (CIVIL/ELECTRICAL/ SIGNAL & TELECOM/ARCHITECT)
FOR DELHI AND BANGALORE METROS.

The last date for receipt of applications for the post of Executive Trainee for DMRC and BMRCL has been extended upto 30/06/08 instead of 23/06/08. The minimum percentage for applying for the above posts has also been revised to 65% instead of 70% in case of B.E & B.Tech Degree (Civil/Electrical/Electronics). For B.Arch there is no change.

No extension for joining will be permitted to the selected candidate, as the course is to commence on 04/08/2008 sharp

Notes: (i) Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has been a rare success story and encouraged by the same many State Governments are taking up similar Metro Projects in their cities. Similar Metro systems are coming up at Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai & Kochi. Some more cities like Pune, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kanpur etc are also in touch with DMRC for planning metros in their cities. Since there is no Institution in the country to meet the requirement of these upcoming metro, this course is being started by IIT/Delhi under sponsorship of DMRC.

(ii) Those who have appeared in the final exam of BE/B.Tech /B.Arch may also apply provisionally, subject to production of documentary proof of having passed and secured requisite marks on or before the date of interview, failing which they will not be interviewed.
