The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has brought out a book titled " A Dream Revisited" (An Archival Journey into the making of the Delhi Metro Rail), which describes the History, Growth, New Technologies, Routes and issues which faced the Delhi Metro Project since its planning upto its implementation. It also has a host of selected newspaper archives about the Metro system which are informative and are a historical record. This is an international Class Colour Publication in Hard Cover which has been printed on Imported Art Paper of the highest quality and consists of 256 pages (size 11" x 8.75").
The first copy of this book was released by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of India on 3rd October, 2003 when he inaugurated the Tis Hazari - Inder Lok (earlier Trinagar) section of the Metro and a copy was given to Prince Charles, His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales on 29th October, 2003 when he visited the Delhi Metro.
The book is priced at Rs. 1,000/- and is available at all the eighteen Metro Stations from Shahdara to Rithala for
SALE. The Book can also be purchased by sending a demand draft in favour of " Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd" for Rs. 1,100/- as it includes Courier Charges. For International Courier extra charges will be applicable.
