DMRC Extends Metro Services To Dwarka Sector 21 on LINE-3
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today extended its Metro train services from Dwarka Sector 9 to Dwarka Sector 21,thereby, adding another 2.76 kilometers to its network. This 2.76 kms stretch consists of two stations namely, Dwarka Sector 8 and Dwarka Sector 21.
The first Metro train for passenger service was flagged off today at 06:00 am from Dwarka Sector-21 Metro station in the presence of senior DMRC officials. With the addition of these two stations today, the Metro train services presently available on Line 3 (from NOIDA to Dwarka Sector 9) and Line 4 (from Anand Vihar to Dwarka Sector 9) are now extended to Dwarka Sector 8 and Dwarka Sector 21 Metro stations.
With this, the DMRC now have a total operational Metro network of approximately 156 kilometers with 132 Metro Stations. As usual, the commuters will continue to find every alternate train going to NOIDA and Anand Vihar from Yamuna Bank Metro Station.
