DMRC : Station Facilities
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been entrusted with responsibility of internal security of Delhi Metro by Govt. of India. With the help of Baggage Scanners, Door frame metal detectors and portable hand held metal detectors CISF staff is able to ensure hassle free and fast security check. The law and order subject remains with Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP)/Local police.
Token Vending Machine (TVM) and Add Value Machine (AVM)
Add Value Machine (AVM)-AVMs have been provided at stations to enable passengers to validate add value doneon Contactless Smart Cards using online transaction. At present, 39 AVMs have been installed at 13 stations.

Token Vending Machine (TVM)-TVMs have been provided at stations to enable passengers to buy tokens and/or perform add value on Contactless Smart Cards without standing in queue at ticket windows and save quality travel time. At present, 177 TVMs have been installed at 77 stations.

1) Lifts-Lifts have been provided for hassle free transit between different levels of stations especially for Differently abled, Elderly and ailing passengers. They are designed for proper interface with Visually or hearing impaired or wheel chair using passengers.
2) Escalators- Escalators have been provided for fast and convenient vertical movement between different levels of the stations.
1) Ramps-Ramps are provided for wheel chaired persons for easy and smooth entry/exit in/from the station
2) Extra Wide AFC gates - For convenient entry through Automatic fare collection gates for a wheel chaired person wide AFC gates are available at most of the stations
Wheel Chairs- Wheel chairs are available at stations for movement of sick or differently abled passengers for easy movement within station and transfer to/from train. Customer Care Center or CISF staff or Delhi Metro helpline (155370) may be contacted to avail this facility.
First Aid Box- is available at every station for administering first aid to the needy persons. Station staff and Train Operators have been trained and certified for providing first aid services.
ATM- ATMs of many reputed banks/ financial institutions have been installed at many stations for use by the commuters.

Eating Joints- Many eating outlets from reputed Indian and multinational brands are available at many stations passengers may relish hygienic food. Please note that eating or drinking inside metro trains is not permitted.
Toilets-Toilets are available in the circulating area of the stations or in the paid area of upcoming stations.
Special toilets for differently abled people are also available at many stations.
Shopping Avenues- Several multi brand other reputed brand shops are available in the stations area for the convenience of shoppers.
Facilities for lady passengers- Delhi Metro understands the needs of women passengers and has reserved a car especially for lady passengers. The first car of a train in moving direction is reserved for ladies in Red, Yellow & Blue lines and common earmarked car in both direction movements in Green & Violet lines. Adequate signages have been provided to clearly indicate the area of platform where the reserved car normally stops.
In addition to this, earmarked seats with adequate signage are reserved in other cars for lady passengers.
